Some offices do not include requisitions and purchase orders in Atlas because this information is maintained in standalone systems and there is no mechanism to transfer the information in Atlas. The functionality in Atlas does not adequately replace the standalone system because of lack of language support or special calculation methods (e.g. for Service Contracts and SSAs). This can lead to understatement of expenditure or lack of visibility from auditors, and can drive up overall support costs due to a variety of disparate systems.
