The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, headed by Rajendra Pachauri, has been facing severe criticism for having presented erroneous evidences on climate change.
"There's been a lot of talking about climate change. It's an area under strict scrutiny", he said.
He admitted, at the annual meeting of the Inter-American Development Bank, that his panel has made some mistakes. He clarified that they have already started rectifying those errors.
The fourth assessment report presented by the panel has been denounced for wrongly claiming that the Himalayan glaciers are under a threat of melting. The group has also been censured as the emails exchanged between the climate

He is of the view that it will be difficult for the rich nations to raise funds for the assistance of developing countries in their efforts of reducing global warming.
