ONE NewsHelen Clark
Helen Clark is expecting to hear at any time whether she's been successful in her bid to become the head of the United Nations Aid Development Agency.
Labour leader Phil Goff says Clark's interview recently in New York went well and she's considered a front runner for the job.
That would see a by-election in her Mount Albert seat which Goff says Labour's ready for despite being well behind National in the opinion polls.
He says National's still in its honeymoon period but he says Labour is well organised in Mount Albert, it's a Labour seat and he'd be fighting to win.
Cullen is expected quit shortly but his list place will be taken by Damien O'Conner.
